Lake lavon duck hunting report

I have just completed my fifteenth scouting trip to Lake Lavon and wanted to pass on my findings. all units have hogs, but the highest concentration of hog sign I have found is areas 1 2 and 4. an entry point is cr 318 and cr 325 intersection. areas 1-5 at the lake is bow only. park your truck and walk down to the pipeline and go right for a mile to the clearing. you can put a chum pile out as the rangers are very reasonable. if you make a left at the pipeline go about 400 yards and there is a active trail on the right and I mean active. I am hunting deer this month, but give me a shout in December if you want to get out

yes this is corp land. the hogs are somewhat landlocked or a more accurate way to put it is they do not have reason to leave area. I have studied maps to get an idea of what is on the land, but also adjacent to it. area is very secluded, little bird hunting, tributaries close by. you gotta be willing to track in thick stuff. I will shoot a little low in dec to get good blood

I was told by the Corp office on the dam that no baiting was allowed. Has this changed? I told the lady "ya'll really don't want to get rid of the hogs then". I got a dirty look for that. Are they still doing the draw hunts?
